A landing way with a resilient surface like rubber, tile, stone, reinforced vinyl, etc.
A carpeted waiting area.
A non-slip, easy to clean, stain resistant showroom floor/counter area.
Don't overlook the fact that you can "lead" customers through your showroom, consider a carpet runner that may lead your customers to an accessories display.
